Rodriguez knows her cars and appreciates how a combination of mechanical inclination and the ‘feel’ of the car contributes to the overall design. After completing an internship with Ford and a career that stretches over a decade, she was named as the lead suspension development engineer on the Taurus and Taurus X vehicle lines. Her responsibilities include managing the tradeoffs between ride qualities and handling responsiveness, in addition to steering calibration and “feel.”
