Samsung Canada Solve For Tomorrow Regional Finalists #SamsungSolve

150 amazing regional finalists are moving on to the next round of the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Challenge! The Challenge asked Canadian students from Grades 6 through 12 to identify issues in their local communities and develop solutions through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Being able to engage Canadian students with a fun, educational STEM challenge that ultimately will benefit their communities for the next 150 years is something I am proud to support!
These 150 regional finalists now move closer to being awarded one of four $20,000 Samsung technology grant packages! Solve For Tomorrow lets students be creative and locally philanthropic in a fun way, while also showing them that STEM subjects are not something to shy away from. STEM problem solving has the power to change the world and make a positive difference. You can see the full list of regional finalists here.
Samsung started the Solve for Tomorrow education program in 2010 in North America to help support 21st century learning goals, raise awareness and interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) subjects to help reduce the technology gap in classrooms. This year, the Solve for Tomorrow Challenge is in its second year, with the goal of inspiring students to try and positively impact the next 150 years in Canada with their STEM solutions.
Best of luck to all the regional finalists!
