I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with the office of the Canadian Prime Minister through an Instagram campaign in order to promote what education can do for you and the importance of inspiring a generation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM)!

“My lifelong dream is to travel to space, and my education in mechanical and aerospace engineering has helped me pursue it. During my undergrad I helped design and build a solar-powered car that I raced across North America. I learned how to fly, experimented with flames in simulated microgravity in grad school, and interned at NASA. Now I work with space robots. My hope is that my stories will help fight outdated stereotypes about women in STEM, and inspire young women to pursue their own ambitious careers where the sky is not the limit.”
