TEDxToronto 2015 > Space: Our Invisible Landfill

I recently had the honor of speaking at TEDxToronto 2015 at the Royal Conservatory of Music. After many months of brainstorming, writing, and rehearsing, we settled on a topic that I am very passionate about: sustainable exploration and satellite servicing.

While I have spoken often on the topics of space junk and orbital debris, this was my first public platform to merge my love for the outdoors and my love for space through conservation. By our obligation to protect the only Earth we have, our home. By our obligation to be accountable for each and every environment or space that we use, rely on, or depend on. Earth’s orbit is not a limitless resource and it is our gateway to exploration. It’s up to us to keep it that way. We are so lucky to have a place like Earth to call home and we MUST do everything in our power to protect our land, our oceans, and also the environment that surrounds Earth!

I would be so thrilled if you watched my talk here and help spread the message!
