“We Day is the movement of our time, empowering a generation of young global citizens through an inspirational event and a year-long educational initiative.”

And this past year I had a couple of opportunities to take the stage, speaking on the topic of women in technology and the need for positive role models to inspire a generation of young women to the possibilities of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) careers. Sharing the stories of incredible women innovating and positively changing the world through technology highlights potential career options that we may not have otherwise been exposed to. Choice is ultimately empowerment.
